I specialise in anxiety and depression using Cognitive Hypnotherapy to create a future without the limitations created by the anxiety or depression that you are currently experiencing.
Anxiety can present itself in the form of fears. The number one fear is Public speaking. Phobias e.g. spiders, exam nerves e.g. driving test or 11+ as well as pre-wedding nerves, moving home, new job, divorce, and many other issues that you may be anxious about.
Depression may present as issues around relationship break-ups, money issues, redundancies and quite often a feeling of loneliness. And isolation. No hope for the future. This can show itself through a lack of motivation and a feeling of apathy and disinterest in your life.
I can help you make sense of it.
We work together, generally for 3-6 sessions, using the various Cognitive Hypnotherapy techniques; these vary with the individual. This may include assisting you make sense of how your brain creates the problem and using techniques that get you back in the driver’s seat of your thoughts and emotions.
Wordweaving™ is used to reinforce your solution, becoming who you want to be, free of the old problem. There may be some exercises given to you to practice between sessions.
